We believe Jesus was really remarkable and when on earth, gave people a taste of a better world.
We experience the reality of that in our church community though we’re the first to admit we’re a pretty broken lot and that we have a long way to go.
We love connecting with those around us, for instance at our Silver Lining Op shop we not only try to sell goods at realistic prices, we put people first, welcome and chat with them if they want, its one way we try to be like Jesus.
We are inclusive, we welcome all nationalities, we try to decide things by consensus.
We are convinced that Jesus shows us clearly what God is like and gives a power to change into better people. Hopefully that means that showing love in practical ways is a high priority.
Our church sits beside the Western Highway in Holts lane, Darley [Mel 333 J3] nestled in the picturesque Bacchus Marsh Valley at Melbourne’s growth fringe with country Victoria, an area well known for apple orchards, market gardens, the ‘Avenue of Honour’ and nature’s resources.
We work with the challenges of infusing our Christian values into this expanding community. More About Our History
Our vision is “Being an accepting community, reflecting Jesus – sharing the good news with love.”
We invite you to join us for one of our weekly gatherings, to experience how Jesus changes everything.
